Tired of seeing children giving up on difficult tasks, author and preschool teacher Natalie Wade began writing a children's book meant to inspire children to pursue their actions to the end. The first book was "Lily's Feather Kite." Lily returns now in a new story, "Lily's Flower Igloo" (published by AuthorHouse).

Lily is a young girl that wants to be an inventor someday. She has her own quirky sense of life and relishes in the creative process. Even when her projects fail, she never loses her resolve - she always picks herself up and starts over. Though her mom sees Lily's struggles, she never intervenes because she knows how important it is for Lily to succeed on her own.

"This book inspires girls to invent and create," Wade says. "It also shows children how persistence brings rewards."

Wade says that children will be attracted to Lily's unique behavior and creativity. Lily's mishaps with her creation are entertaining and show that everyone makes mistakes. Wade hopes that children will read her book and be filled with the resolve to pursue their dreams and see their goals through.

"I want the children that read my stories to be inspired to be stronger people," Wade says.
