According to the U.S. Census Bureau, in 2012 Spanish was the primary language spoken at home by 38.3 million people aged five or older.

In a world where Spanish is used in the professional world and beyond, Miss Ina's new book, "El Desayuno Breakfast," is the first of a series of books that focuses on teaching children the Spanish language, one conversational theme at a time.

Focusing on words and phrases associated with breakfast, the nature of this new language program makes learning the vocabulary more simple and useful in everyday life.

"This approach to learning a new language is based on the idea that our brains think in images, pictures and symbols," said Miss Ina.

The mother of five children, who she homeschooled throughout their lives, Miss Ina uses her experiences teaching as the basis of this book.

This practical way of building useable vocabulary is an effective method of teaching Spanish at any stage in life.

"I believe that learning to learn a language can be simple and fun and can be used to benefit and enrich the life of children," said Miss Ina.
