Minister, Psychologist Targets Overcoming Homosexuality in New Book

Dr. Levi M. Matthews announces his new book, "Our Stories of Overcoming 'Homosexual Behavior'" (published by WestBow Press), which he says focuses on overcoming the temptation of homosexual behavior, the struggles that come with that process and life's other challenges as a believer of Christ, by choosing an identity in Jesus Christ above all else.

"It is a book that not only discusses this issue but also allows you to see the victorious testimony and journey of so many people," he says. "This collision of truth and experience, God and self, show us the importance and power of faith and the importance and power of a community of faithful people."

Matthews adds that his book answers questions, explains truths and shows a godly response for the church, as well as "gives testimony to the victory that so many people of faith are looking for, longing for, and hoping for as it relates to them or someone they love."
