Pedophilia. It's a taboo topic that many avoid talking about, and some people even believe doesn't exist.

In her new book, "USFP: A New Beginning," author M I Clark weighs the tensions of good and evil, and their impact on human life. She details the main character's struggle with being the victim of pedophilia and how law enforcement ultimately helped save her life.

Clark is an Army veteran whose 45-year hobby of writing led her to publish her first book, "USFP", after recognizing the lack of fictional books dealing with the subject of pedophilia. She took interest in the action law enforcement take against such crimes and combined with her love of science fiction, developed a compelling story with important themes.

"Many people believe that law enforcement officers do nothing to help those who are being victimized," Clark said. "However, that's not the case, and I wanted to develop a storyline that sheds light on the victims in these cases, as well as the good people who help them."
