Listening Library from Brook Forest Voices is Announced

Just in time for summer, Brook Forest Voices has created the Listening Library via their Audiobook Connection, a service designed to allow independent bookstores a means to offer audiobooks without investment or physical inventory. The service will be launched June 1, 2016.

The BFV Audiobook Connection was developed to directly satisfy two major independent bookseller concerns: inventory investment and shelf space. BFV resolved these issues by allowing customers to purchase directly while in the bookstore or from their home via the bookseller's website. Bookstores may choose from either the standard BFV widget design or a specially designed clickable widget utilizing the store's logo for a minimal subscription fee, which would then be placed on the bookstore's website. The bookstore would receive a variable commission on each digital download or CD title, reflecting the package of services desired.

This unique solution allows independent booksellers to offer the growing BFV Audiobook Catalog of fiction, nonfiction, children's and classic titles without inventory investment and without sacrificing valuable store shelf space. It also allows audiobook fans to purchase audiobooks while visiting their favorite independent bookstore or from the comfort of their home.
