Fairbanks, Alaska

What started out as a dream eventually developed into a finely woven web of secrets and intrigue, a plot that propels author Priscilla Delgado's debut novel, "Leonard" (published by Xlibris). The author launches a new marketing campaign for this gripping novel first published in 2012.

Rose Lynn Kelly, young widow of Stryker Brigade Sergeant Bill Kelly, owns a priceless heirloom violin the unscrupulous Leonard is determined to have. With action from her home in Fairbanks to a remote cabin near the Arctic Circle, he becomes increasingly desperate, as well as ruthless, as time after time his plans are thwarted. Until by the time Rose fully realizes that her nagging mistrust of Leonard is valid, she has a knife at her throat.

Smoothly combining interesting places with richly-drawn characters, the story of "Leonard" excites with a well-developed plot packed with a good dose of suspense. The dangers brought about by greed and evil heavily evident all throughout the story reflects the same elements present in society - the very attitude the author wanted to warn readers about. With themes of individuality and that of a military family, this story will grab interest of military and suspense fiction lovers.
