Author Kuanysh-Beck Sazanov presents a compelling analysis on the current geopolitical climate and what can be done to reverse [international conflicts in his new book, "The Grand Chatrang Game" (published by AuthorHouse UK).

Thoroughly researched, "The Grand Chatrang Game" compares the major global religions, cultures and civilizations that have developed over the centuries, and attempts to explain the roots of long-standing international conflicts. Each conflict, Sazanov says, has the potential to escalate into a full-scale global war.

Sazanov compares the four major political powers - "Christendom," "Dar-al-Islam," "Orient" and the "Eurasian World" - to the four players in a game of Chatrang, which he describes as an ancient game of chess. He uses the Chatrang metaphor to explain how each political power operates and how their moves may affect other players.

The recent events in Ukraine inspired Sazanov to put pen to paper and share his knowledge with readers. He hopes his book will enlighten readers to the political climate and the future of global politics.

"The main purpose of the book is to share the new concept in international relations and the world politics area based on the historical analysis of political systems," Sazanov writes. "This new approach should enrich the potential readers with the knowledge of different regions of the world and explain the differences, which exist among different societies."
