Pirates are often viewed as a violent lot, who wreak havoc on the sea. They are avoided by sailors because of their penchant for raiding ships and other sea-going vessels. Inspired by her grandchildren's interest in pirates, author Jannie McClelland uncovers an enthralling tale about two pirates, named Biff and Buster. Their misadventures are chronicled in "Biff and Buster - A Tale of Two Pirates."

Biff and Buster are two sly pirates, who are most feared on the high sea. It is said that no ship is ever safe from their plundering. They attack unsuspecting victims at night; drawing their swords, creeping aboard and stealing sovereigns, silver and gold. But although their treasures are aplenty, there is disagreement. Who should have the best? One day, things take a turn for the worst. Ignoring an impending storm, Biff and Buster are determined to prove who is right, and who is wrong. And so, they fight until their ship is wrecked. Their lives are in danger; and they realize too late, that no good comes from fighting. Will it be the end for Biff and Buster?

Told in a rhyming and charming narrative, "Biff and Buster - A Tale of Two pirates" is a truly entertaining read, that will capture the reader's imagination; taking them on an unforgettable journey that holds a valuable lesson in life. The overall theme is a moral one - 'No good comes from greed and strife. Friendship has more value than silver and old'.
