ORLANDO, Fla.

A hapless public auditor finds himself tangled in a web of fraudulent external auditing in J. Clay Evans' new corporate thriller, "Doom to the Damned" (published by Abbott Press).

When James Dennison wakes up groggy, he finds himself bound to a chair in a strange room and profoundly confused. James, who never cared for the dangerous lifestyle, recently accepted a public auditor position at a seemingly low-key accounting firm in Orlando, Florida, but he never thought his boring job would lead him here.

Now important clients are bribing James to ignore their fraudulent accounting, leaving him with a major dilemma. As James falls farther and farther down the rabbit hole, the only person willing to help - the most powerful drug dealer in Orlando - offers more problems than solutions. Will James do what is right or save himself?

Laced with danger and mystery, "Doom to the Damned" weaves an intricate story that offers twists and turns designed to keep readers' adrenaline pumping. Evans hopes to keep readers on their toes and leave them with an exciting and satisfying read.
