About the Author
Born on 1940 in Brookhaven, Mississippi, Gail Longino's early childhood memories were in a small town surrounded by a family of adults whi gave her freedom to play for hours ooutside and inside the house using her imagination with her dolls. She was fascinated with people of other races and cultures. Living in nine different states in the US and two cities in Europe gave her not time to write but much time to experience a wealth of cultures, languages, literature, music, art and religion. She is a fifth generation Mississippian. Her debut novel is brewed in her rich life experiences. Longino is a NANOWRIMO (National November Writing Month) 2013 Winner.
