NEW YORK, July 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ A-Argus Publishing is pleased to announce the release of Lucifer's Son, the highly anticipated first novel from Sergey Mavrodi, one of the most controversial figures of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Compared favorably by many to horror and suspense authors such as Stephen King and Dean Koontz, Mavrodi, Russia's Master of Horror, introduces us to his world... the world of angels and devils, of Lucifer and Lucifer's son, a world of temptation and seduction in a masterpiece of deviltry and suspense. In a world of horror and fear that is almost too realistic to be fiction, Mavrodi's characters burst from the pages, come alive, and open up their innermost beings- showing revelations of human nature that will shock and mesmerize the reader, who will be unable to put Lucifer's Son down until the last terrifying conclusion.

Lucifer's Son, the first book in the Temptation Chronicles series, takes the reader inside the mind of Mavrodi, a man who has alternately been described as a mathematical genius and a criminal mastermind. Sergey's story was one that has garnered international media attention spanning two decades.

In the year 1993, shortly after the collapse of the former USSR, on the basis of cooperative ideology, Mavrodi created the joint-stock company MMM. The plan was simple: to accumulate people's money, buy up all state property on the money auctions held at that moment, and distribute among the shareholders. In less than six months, MMM had about 15 million members, and Mavrodi himself controlled more than one third of the country's budget. After being found guilty of numerous crimes, Mavrodi spent much of the following decade in and out of prisons. Lucifer's Son was written by Sergei Mavrodi while in the federal special prison #99/1.

As Lucifer's Son's series of novellas weave seamlessly together using elements from psychology, religion, computer science, and even virtual reality, they form a plot that will grip the reader and leave him or her wondering how easy it would be to bring out the devil within them.

Today, Mavrodi remains a controversial figure as he continues to operate MMM. He has also been reportedly involved in the rise of the controversial BitCoin currency.
