The desire to share her God through expertly woven poetry has propelled author Beverly Larsen to make her mark in the world of literature. As a debut author, Larsen introduces a captivating collection of words vibrating with rhythm and rhyme dedicated "For His Glory" (published by Xlibris).

"I have lived a long time and observed the difficulty of life. There is a greater power beyond anything we can imagine, as in 'Far Beyond,' the first poem - a power that is available to us for the turn of a page and an open heart," Larsen states.

Having led her life with God constantly at her side, the author shares the fruits and blessings she has reaped as a reward to her faithfulness. Trusting God in each and every trial, and turning to him in every crossroad in life, Larsen declares a powerful Father she is sure will guide every heart that will seek Him.

As she says her testimonials through powerful poetry, Larsen urges readers to "let this book be a beacon in the darkness, a lighthouse in the storm. Let it rekindle a fire gone cold, whereby faith, your soul can warm."

About the Author
Beverly Larsen was born in Wisconsin in 1936. She met her husband, John, at college over 60 years ago. She has raised a family of three, 2 sons and a daughter. While working out of the home as a custom designer and dressmaker, she began to write poetry. Larsen continued her college education after her youngest child was in 8th grade at the University of Wisconsin with a major in psychology. Larsen eventually became a licensed caregiver and worked in that field for over 15 years. Various health issues and severe arthritis has kept her confined to a wheelchair for the last three years. Illness and pain are not strangers in Larsen's life, but the devotion of her husband, John, her family, and many good friends - such as Deborah - have inspired her to write poetry in praise of God and His abundant grace. This is the author's first book.
