RICHMOND, Va. - Everybody has their own share of burdens. Some may take it lightly and confine their emotions within themselves while there are those who choose to seek avenues for release. Yet, however these emotional battles are tackled, author Ebony Brown believes there is always a way out. Having had her share of life's difficult moments, she pens "Learn From My Pain" (published by Xlibris) in the hopes of helping others overcome life's most harrowing struggles.

"Learn From My Pain" is an autobiographical story that recounts Brown's journey towards self-healing. Her quest was a slow and painful process. While relationships were breaking apart, she was pushed to the edge - hopeless and weary. But through it all, she managed to come out victorious as she discovered the liberation that is found in forgiveness.

"Where there is pain, there is love," says Brown. "Forgiveness is the prescription for one's heart. We search for this in others but forget to give it to ourselves. I hope this book could help you follow the path of forgiving yourself. It is the most rewarding and freeing feeling in the end."

Poignantly portrayed, "Learn From My Pain" teaches that pain is universal. Others have been there and they have found light at the end every dark tunnel. Hope, as long as it is kept burning, says Brown, is the torch that will let one see the silver lining in every difficult situation.
