Dwight A. Swindle Shares 52 MESSAGES OF WISDOM

During the late 1990s, Dwight A. Swindle's pastor, Elder Elijah Good, advised his congregants to order tapes of sermons by Bishop W. C. Hunter. As a member of the U.S. Army Reserve, Swindle took this advice to heart in order to have a proverbial church with him whilst traveling to and from duty. He decided to share this boon to others by transcribing Bishop Hunter's sermons, compiling them into a book and conveying the collected "52 Messages of Wisdom" (published by Xlibris) to those in need of spiritual guidance.

"Pastor Good continually advises our congregation to use our talents for the Lord's purpose, just as we use them for ourselves. I began transcribing messages while on active duty in 2003 and worked throughout the years to fulfill what I felt God had put upon my heart." Swindle says. As he listened to the message, handwrote them and typed them, a particular sermon empowered him to get past a very challenging situation he faced. It was then that the purpose of the project became clear to him - someone could be delivered from challenging situations, which he or she is facing, and the only deliverance through that situation is given in God's Word.

"It is my desire that those who read this book will come to acknowledge the Almighty God as the Lord of Hosts, that lost souls will accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and that people will come to know Bishop W. C. Hunter as a man of God, whom the Lord has used to deliver his Word for over fifty years," Swindle states.

Dwight Swindle was born and raised in Jemison. Under the teaching of Bishop W. C. Hunter, he received salvation in Jesus Christ at an early age.
