Dr. Lois Brittell IT'S ALL ABOUT HIM to Be Featured at 2014 Women of Faith Conference
In clinical psychologist and author Dr. Lois Brittell's new book, "It's All about Him: Intimacy with God" (published by WestBow Press), she presents solutions to everyday questions Christians may have about their faith or lives.
"Most Christians encounter the concerns addressed in this book at some time in their lives and most are looking for solutions, often in all the wrong places," Brittell says.
To solve this predicament, Brittell offers advice, suggestions and answers to common Christian problems like learning to respect and love others and detachment from their faith. By mixing biblical Scripture with encouraging passages, Brittell hopes the book can help those questioning their faith or God's plan.
"The passages I found in Scripture are the ones that ultimately led to my healing and restoration," Brittell says. "So many of my patients had the same questions regarding God, their own identity and a general lack of victory over anxiety and depression, even though their stories varied in presentation. I had to find answers for them as well as for myself."
"It's All about Him" will be featured at the 2014 Women of Faith conference in Portland, Ore., from Dec. 5-6.
