David Zwirner Books is pleased to participate in the fourth edition of Printed Matter's LA Art Book Fair 2016, marking its first time exhibiting at the fair. The special presentation will focus on quintessential Los Angeles artist Jason Rhoades (1965-2006).

Highlights at the fair will include the newly released catalogue Jason Rhoades: PeaRoeFoam, the first publication solely dedicated to this seminal project within the artist's career. The catalogue contains an abundance of archival documentation that includes selected interviews from the Jason Rhoades Oral History Project, which has interviewed over fifty artists, curators, friends, collaborators, art historians, and others who intimately knew the artist.

Published on the occasion of the LA Art Book Fair is a reissue of the extremely rare artist book Jason Rhoades: Xerox Book. It consists of over 400 reproductions of the artist's drawings and handwritten notes, bound by four aluminum screw bolts, and is reprinted in an edition of 100 numbered copies. On view will be a selection of Rhoades's editioned work relating to his PeaRoeFoam project that includes refrigerator magnets made from Ivory Snow detergent boxes and a reprint of the 2002 David Zwirner exhibition poster, originally designed by the artist, available at the booth for $5.

Also featured will be a wide range of new and recent publications by Michaël Borremans, Marcel Dzama, Yayoi Kusama, Oscar Murillo, and Raymond Pettibon.

Rhoades's work has been exhibited internationally since the 1990s. Museum collections which hold his works include the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart, Berlin; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; The Museum of Modern Art, New York; Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; Tate Gallery, London; and the Whitney Museum of American

Art, New York.
