David Mallegol Releases New Book on the ADVENTURES OF THE BRONZE HORSEMEN

The Botai people lived in the steppes of the Ural Mountains over 5,000 years ago. Beginning in the timeframe 3,700-3,100 B.C., the Botai people were the first to ride horses, something that would become their defining characteristic. David Mallegol returns readers to the Botai village in his second book of the Bronze Horsemen series, "Adventures of the Bronze Horsemen: The Botai People and Their Horses Changed the World" (published by iUniverse).

Mallegol begins "Adventures of the Bronze Horsemen" where the first book, "The Bronze Horsemen" left off. They learn their village will come under attack by their old enemy, the Smolens, the same people who drove them from their original homeland 25 years ago. The Botai are led by Daven, a senior hunter, and Bruno, the leader of the Botai people. They choose to fight, not to run as their ancestors did once before. Daven devises the perfect plan to defeat the Smolens only to have it exposed by a person of his own people for personal gain. Daven and Bruno are driven along a path of revenge, fueled by hatred.

An excerpt from "Adventures of the Bronze Horsemen":

Daven, torturing his captive to get information thought to himself: I had no trouble with what I am doing to him. This man had killed my mother by slitting her throat and he killed my father in a fight to the death when the Smolens took our village. I let him feel the pain from his stump for some time. Then I ordered the men, "Push the fire close to his remaining foot." The second scout watched it all in terror. He was next.
