The author Daniele du Plessis Toft is a natural story teller who has always loved to tell stories to her schoolfriends when she was younger. Her passion for story telling still persists to this day and has shaped the story in "The Humming Sword" (published by Xlibris UK).

This highly entertaining story follows a young boy named Leo who goes to live with his grandparents in Dorset. In the very old castle, he finds the entrance to a magical world. There, he discovers that he is stronger and braver than he thought and battles an evil magician with the help of a friend, a magical sword and a flying dragon. The story is a classic tale of a young boy gaining confidence in himself by overcoming insurmountable odds. The tale also contains a cast of lovable characters that add flavor to the adventure.

"The Humming Sword" shows that anybody can be courageous in difficult circumstances and a lesson against prejudice and selfishness.
