Each night at midnight, Owen Wilson's character travels back in time in Woody Allen's film "Midnight in Paris." He meets Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Ernest Hemingway, Man Ray, Josephine Baker, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Gertrude Stein and many other famous artists that lived in Paris at the dawn of the 20th Century. "When watching the film a few years ago I started to wonder where all the artists used to hang out. Was it still possible to go to these places?" Lena Strand says, "After a little research I found out that many of the places were still open!"

Even if time has passed by in Paris, a lot of bars, restaurants and hotels from that period of time haven't changed and are still around to be re-discovered. In the book, "Do Paris like Hemingway!" there is a selection of those places with small stories about who went where and who said what. Like, for example, what Ernest Hemingway said to F. Scott Fitzgerald about his marriage when they met for the first time in Paris. Altogether, there are over 70 historical addresses of cafés, bars, restaurants, hotels and museums to discover urgently.

The book, "Do Paris like Hemingway!", is now for sale on Amazon.com A travel guide by Lena Strand from Booksnparis (70 pages). Please contact Booksnparis for a free PDF version of the book.
