Christian Publishing Releases 'Supernatural Encounters with Angels and Jesus Christ'

Just as a "divine visitation changed Simon Peter from a common fisherman to an apostle of Jesus Christ; changed Saul to Paul, who God used to write two-thirds of the New Testament; and changed the centurion Cornelius and his family, who became the first Gentile Christians to be filled with the Holy Spirit."

Without an encounter with God, there is "no revival, no divine visitation, no supernatural breakthrough." God uses supernatural encounters for specific purposes like teaching a spiritual lesson or imparting information. "This is your season for a heavenly visitation, an unusual encounter with God for a revolution in your entire life," Etta said. His book is the result of God's directive to "share his experiences with others, to encourage and build their faith in Jesus Christ."

Etta grew up in "bondage without the saving knowledge of the true and loving God." He was born in a West African village without hospitals, police stations, electricity or running water - where children died weekly from malaria and cholera. One morning, he woke to discover his younger brother, lying in bed next to him, had died in his sleep. Etta, who had been appointed by his priest father to serve alcohol to the village religious elders and drink the leftovers, consequently became a drunkard by age ten. But because of divine supernatural encounters with God's grace, today he is "healthy, happy, saved, and privileged" to be His servant and "preach the gospel to the nations of the world."
