An author's inspiration can come in many forms, but for Allie Jean, it came from a series of reoccurring childhood nightmares. "People ask me if I had a bad childhood to illicit such vivid dreams. I tell them no, my mother blames my horrible nightmares on Michael Jackson. She always said it was a bad idea to let her three year old watch Thriller," Allie Jean jokes. These dreams haunted Allie Jean for years before she decided to drag them from the shadows and put them into words. Once her novel was complete, she entered it into a romance contest hosted by The Writer's Coffee Shop Publishing House. Legacy of a Dreamer won the contest and earned her a contract with the publisher famous for bringing Fifty Shades of Grey to the masses.

The Dreamer Series is not a romance series for the faint of heart. With fallen angels, cursed monsters, and warriors in an epic battle between good and evil, this series has depictions of scenes that will make you consider leaving the light on while you sleep.

With the release of Dreams of the Cursed, excited fans will witness the return of many favorite characters from Legacy of a Dreamer. "I can't wait to see what happens to Chantel and Mathias! As a reader, you root for them, but at the same time, you are worried that forces will keep them apart," says fan Sherrie Holder.

About the Author:
Allie Jean was born with an overactive imagination. As a child, her days were spent inventing stories, directing her sisters in made-up plays, or telling elaborate ghost stories. Her mind never took breaks or shut down, even when she slept. When her eyes closed at night, she would have vivid dreams complete with extensive, elaborate plot lines, and good overcoming evil villains.
She was encouraged by her parents, even at a young age, to write down her tales, and it has remained a somewhat-secret hobby. It became a means to escape from the drama of real life into one of the many worlds she created.
Now living in California with her husband of ten years, her love of storytelling had taken a backseat with the arrival of their four children. However, she always found time to write down her thoughts on whatever was handy, including a stray diaper or two while rocking a sleeping child in the middle of the night when her characters begged for attention as well.
As a busy wife, mother, and working full-time outside the home, somehow she has been able to write down her relentless characters' story. Her once-secret hobby and private world is now released for others to enjoy. Nothing would make Allie happier than to spend more time at home with her family and continue writing on a full-time basis.
