His burning desire to get a good education even under extremely crushing circumstances led Chijioke to where he is today. Already a successful man in his own right, he looks back and thanks his strong support system which was exemplified by his mother as she prayed "On Her Knees" (published by Xlibris) in order to support him in his quest to get a proper education while she continues to be a mother and father to the family at the same time.

Detailing his inspirational journey from being a poor and frail African child to being a master's degree holder, Chijioke's story serves as a testament to a man's burning desire to reach his goal; overcoming all obstacles no matter how seemingly insurmountable they seem. The importance of having a strong faith, belief in one's self and an unshakable support system, like his beloved mother, are other key messages of this moving narrative as well.

His thirst for education saw Chijioke aim and reach great heights - a feat that he credits to never giving up on his dreams, a good education and an unflinching support system. With contrasting picture of his early days and his present, his "On Her Knees: Unto the Higher God" exemplifies the unfailing individual light, inevitably shining through amidst harsh societal circumstances.
