LOS ANGELES

Readers who struggle with memory, concentration or decision-making processes may find help in author Chester Litvin's new book, "Introduction to Brain Stimulation by Psychoconduction: Litvin's Code" (published by Trafford Publishing).

Litvin, who is a clinical psychologist, has developed a new approach for stimulating the brain. This book will guide readers through a series of exercises in order to reeducate their sensory brain cells. He shares his patented process for reviving brain cells - a process he calls "psychoconduction" (U.S. Patent 7400927).

"Overall this book is about psychoconduction, stimulation of brains simple cells with psychological modality," Litvin says. "My book explains how we can stimulate the simple cells."

The goal of Litvin's process is to correct or replace the damaged cells of the brain, which can be audio, video, kinesthetic or olfactory cells. Litvin writes that it is difficult for damaged cells to process information and his book offers a "tune up" for them.

An excerpt from "Introduction to Brain Stimulation by Psychoconduction":

"The task to keep information in most simple form is always a struggle. In our discovery we are not changing any information, but somehow we want to change the structure of the brain's cells to process information. It is not a problem anymore to have simple representation of information. The complex information can become simple and acceptable by simple brain cells."
