Over 50 people were killed in the mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida. This recent tragic event, as author Charlotte Williams thinks about it, is a product of both discrimination and uncontrollable anger. Williams had also experienced being a victim of misplaced anger. In 2015, Williams penned her harrowing experiences in autobiography book "Unbreakable Spirit" (published by Xlibris), which has a new book marketing campaign.

The author describes "Unbreakable Spirit" as a shocking, unimaginable, unthinkable and unforgivable true story of her life as a victim of domestic and gun violence. Three years ago, she was shot twice by surprise with a .357 Magnum revolver by a man that had been physically and verbally abusing her for years. "It doesn't matter how long you think you know a person, you still don't know them until they reveal their true colors."

Williams is positive that her tell-all memoir will inspire readers about her life story. She lets readers feel that they are not alone, especially those who face situations similar to the author's experiences. "I am a standing testimony of strength and willpower. I want us all to be heard as being survivors."

An excerpt from the book:
This amazing spirit that has been dragged from the peak of heaven to one of the darkest pit of hell and back again, remains unbroken. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel.
