Charles Watkins Shares PEDRO'S GREAT ADVENTURE

Charles Watkins, a thrill-seeking outdoorsman who spends his retirement teaching martial arts, has completed his new book "Pedro's Great Adventure": a vibrantly illustrated tale about a little dog who has a big desire to live life to the fullest.

Watkins invented Pedro the Chihuahua off the cuff while teaching Aikido. "Trying to teach 22 five-year-olds a martial art without an assistant is a challenge. (I) made up this story as a way to get them all to sit quietly."
