SUTHERLAND, New South Wales

As a single mother with four teenagers, her mother and sister in the house who are notorious for giving her less than two hours' notice that extras are coming to stay for the night or weekend, Cassandra Graves learned to stretch the planned meal out to anything up to 12 people with leftovers. Her inability to find a cookbook that will cater for larger families prompted Graves to write "More Than Four," (published by Xlibris AU) a healthy recipe book for big families or groups.

This book contains sumptuous recipes such as chicken dishes, beef/lamb/goat and pork dishes, seafood dishes, vegetable dishes, leftover makeovers, desserts and party foods. Some of these recipes even came from the author's grandmother's handwritten notes from during the Second World War.

"I have not found any similar book like this one," Graves said. "It caters for non-uniform families because not everyone has a family of only four."

The current economic times call for recipes and hints that help families survive and put a healthy and delicious dinners onto the table, especially for larger families. "More Than Four" is an easy to follow, budget-friendly recipe book of healthy meals everyone will enjoy.
