About the Author
Brad Tyndall grew up Episcopalian and after his explorations with Muslims, Christians and Hindus in Europe, the Middle East and East Africa, he returned to the United States and attended Unity and Methodist churches and became an elder in the First Christian Church in Neosho, Missouri. He embraced Catholicism and revels in its mystical practices. He is the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Central Wyoming College and teaches sustainable economics for Colorado Mountain College. He has a PhD in environmental economics, international trade and a master's degree in agricultural and natural resource economics. He has studied Arabic and French at the Université de Strasbourg, France, and refined his understanding of Arabic and Islam as a Peace Corps volunteer in Sudan and as an economist in Yemen. He was a Fulbright Fellow in Kenya. Since the tragedy of September 11, 2001, he has presented on the "Loving Side of Islam."
