BlackBall Comics Launch Four Graphic Novel/Comic Book Campaigns

Today, many new independent comic book companies use crowdfunding as a way to finance, create buzz, and launch their comic book lines and universes. Several have found success due to people wanting to read the adventures and stories of characters that reach beyond the big two companies that dominate the market.

BlackBall Comics Founder states that "These aren't spandex and cape wearing characters. Our stories are a little darker and deeper than just superheroes. Every story, we ask ourselves what would the world be like if this really happened... and don't get it wrong, its not like we aren't delving into the world of the fantastic. We do. We have a book 'Crimson Reign' that pits witches and Vampires against Demons and Zombies. We gave a futuristic Detective in such of a serial killer in 'City Without a Soul' as well as a Teen with powers in a world where powers don't exist, in 'Christopher Rising,' and finally a world where a super powered narcissistic and psychotic President decides that the world would be better if he ruled it, and the black ops team put together to stop him."
