Bethany Williams Releases Career Guidebook, CEO of YOU

CEO of YOU is a power-packed career advice book. Written as an easy to read guidebook, it provides readers with the secrets to map out their careers and increase their earnings.

"I wrote this book as a follow up to Brand YOU," she said. "With Brand YOU's incredible success, selling around the globe into multiple countries, many have read it and posed the question: 'Okay, now that I have developed a great personal brand, what should I focus on for next steps for career success?'"

Her follow-up book answers those questions and motivates the reader to action. How do you take your career and earnings to the next level? How do you build a personal board of directors to manage your career? How do you find a job in a competitive market, ensure job worthiness, and continue getting a paycheck when so many are unemployed?

At a recent TEDxTurtle Creek Women's conference* [http://youtu.be/y3E0P2AP2UM , she spoke of the many things employees don't do that they should do to keep their jobs and keep themselves marketable in this economy. With fear as a driver, employees 'hide out' at work, staying under the radar, rather than working to create amazing results, standout brands, AND marketing and selling their skill-sets to the world, she said. She compares the job market today to rock climbing up a vertical cliff, without a harness, and encouraged her audience to equip themselves for the climb. The ones that are unique and are focusing on results are the ones who survive and THRIVE in this job market. The ones 'hiding out at work' will eventually fall off the work cliff into unemployment.

"The job market has changed so dramatically, that it takes a rope and a harness to sustain in this market," said Williams. "Today, employees must manage their careers and their earnings, map out a career path, plan their careers, create amazing results, and go make things happen."
