Peter Siviglia, a best-selling author in the legal field, has now published "The Sidelines of Time" (published by Archway Publishing), a collection of some of his writings over the past 50 years. In this new work, Siviglia celebrates the individual and offers sage advice.

The book has three parts: Poetry, described as, "Braced by stunning imagery and humor that penetrates our lives and our society." Recipes from the Top of the Food Chain, a collection of aphorisms hailed by James Geary, a best-selling author on the subject; and Poetic Justice, a darkly humorous exchange between the author and a banker jousting during the aftermath of a failed real estate project.

"The work is remarkably relevant in this complex world dominated by bureaucracies and powerful corporations," Siviglia says. This deftly written work has much to offer readers.

In an excerpt from the poem Dinner at the Cave, he defines the poet:
"The poet is a philosopher of passion expressed in the cool phases of the mind."
