One of the common problems that modern families face today is the lack of free time to be with one another. The hustle and bustle existence also leaves little time for parents to bond with their kids. This may prove to have a negative effect on the parent-child relationship. One of the best solutions for this problem is that parents should make time to at least tell their kids a bedtime story. Because these few minutes of story time may help the parent create a rapport and show the child that he or she is loved. In "Bedtime stories" author Maria Davis has created a great picture book that will not only help parents be closer to their kid, but also help the kids develop good values.

Davis' new compilation of short stories for children's literature is filled with a myriad of interesting facts and characters that will surely enthrall young readers. The short stories were written by the author due to her love for children and her wish to entertain and inspire them. These short stories are perfect for entertaining young children, whether it is in a classroom or during bedtime. The stories are written in a catchy and rhythmical manner that captures and stimulates the imagination. The stories are all well thought out with wonderful characters who show kids a multitude of good values and life lessons that will prove beneficial to their personal and moral development.

"Bedtime Short Stories" is a lively and creative read that gives off a sense of wonder and childhood innocence to everyone who reads it.
