"Before, '50 Shades of Grey', came out, I was taking notes on a character that is into those kinds of activities. I wanted a love story, mixed with horrors of murder that connect to the games that are played," author Ann Silver shares. Inspired by the people who are comfortable with their sexuality and those persons who openly admit that they enjoy S and M, Silver came up with an interesting tale that highlights a dark story with a string of murders and the passionate pleasures between two or more people.

Silver's "The Window of the Soul" introduces readers to Katarina Black, owner of the Black Light Club. Katarina is beautiful, sexy, and loves to play sex games; but lately, she has been dissatisfied with the play. Everything changes when a murder of a customer brings handsome Inspector Matthew Watson to her club. The killing was just starting and Katarina and Matthew are thrown together into her dark world to solve the string of gory murders. In this fast-paced story, will Matthew ultimately find the killer and save Katarina from herself?

Upbeat, exciting, and totally engrossing, Silver's portrayal of the master/slave relationships for BDSM practitioners, as well as the gruesome murders with the equally interesting twist of characters all contributed to this amazing story. Highly passionate, mysterious, and suspense-filled, readers are sure to keep guessing until the very gripping end.
