The acclaimed, national-touring production of Brontë's gothic masterpiece, Wuthering Heights, will storm back into the Cremorne Theatre, Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) from 12 to 19 June 2016 - with limited tickets remaining.

Brought to you by the multi-award winning team, shake & stir theatre co, in their 10th anniversary year, Wuthering Heights features brand new cast members including Tim Dashwood, Nick Skubij, Gemma Willing and Australian film, television and theatre star Linden Wilkinson embodying the role of Nelly Dean.

Wuthering Heights features a breath-taking design, from shake & stir's award winning team of Josh McIntosh (Set Designer), Leigh Buchanan (Costume Designer) Jason Glenwright (Lighting Designer), Guy Webster (Sound Designer) and optikal bloc (Projection Designers).

shake & stir's Artistic Director and Director for Wuthering Heights, Nick Skubij invites audiences to drop by the Heights.

"The production sold-out in record-time in 2014 so we are thrilled to offer audiences another opportunity to experience the drama of Brontë's famous text, reimagined for the stage as part of our 10th anniversary year. Our new cast members bring a deep level of understanding, emotional resonance and nuance to the work.

"Theatrically we are also pushing the boundaries and thanks to our esteemed design team Wuthering Heights will surprise and shock in all the right ways; we are literally bringing the natural elements into theatre," said Skubij.

Already critics around the country are praising the production on its Australian travels with the Canberra Critics Circle calling it, 'An exceptional, brilliantly performed piece of theatre. The cast are splendid'.

Aussie Theatre

This production has the all expected highlights of a shake & stir adaptation. It loses none on Brontë's brooding pessimism nor the brutality and bitter suffering of her characters. Rather it brings them into sharp, convincing, contemporary focus.
