Cape Rep Theatre Presents ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS, Now thru 7/19

Cape Rep Theatre will present the Cape Cod premiere of Richard Bean's hilarious comedy, One Man, Two Guvnors, today, June 19 through July 19, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7 pm, Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 pm and Sunday June 22 and 29 at 2 pm; there is no performance Tuesday, June 24, or Friday, July 4.

Based on The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni, Richard Bean's slapstick comedy was the hit of London and Broadway, critically acclaimed as "the funn [Text Box:] iest show on the planet" by the London Daily Mail and "splendidly silly" by the New York Times. In the seaside town of Brighton, England in 1963, Francis Hempel is right-hand-man to two employers at the same time. He must keep the two apart in order to keep this secret and hold onto his job. But that is near impossible because one is posing as a man, and is really lover to the other! Pratfalls and mistaken identities, mayhem and live music to top it all off!

Fred Sullivan, Jr. directs. Fred is a longtime company member of Trinity Repertory Company and Resident Director at the Gamm. He has acted in and directed throughout the region for over thirty years. His collaborative team includes the talents of Chandler Travis, as Musical Director, Set Designer, Ryan McGettigan, Costume Designer, Robin McLaughlin, Lighting Designer, Alex Jainchill and Fight Choreographer, Craig Handel ; Properties are by Tristan DiVincenzo, and Alison Weller and Damian Baldet are the Dialect Coaches. Kate Gulden is the Stage Manager.

The cast features Seton Brown as Francis Henshall, Jonathan C. Whitney as Stanley Stubbers, Liz Tancredi as Rachel Crabbe, Zach Brown as Harry Dangle and Alfie, Cleo Zani as Charlie "The Duck" Clench, Brandon Green as Lloyd Boateng, Sarah Jane Robinson as Pauline Clench, Sam Gillam as Alan Dangle, Victoria Tucci as Dolly and Tom Leidenfrost as Gareth.
