Experience one of the world’s most exciting theatrical centers…London, with the Theatre in London Seminar through Ocean County College, Toms River, NJ. Now in its 28th year, this thrilling trip is January 3 – 15, 2007 and includes 10 – 12 plays (everything from the Fringe, to the RSC, to the Royal National Theatre and the West End).
Productions for this year’s trip include Caroline or Change, Emile Zola's Therese Raquin, and a new play by Conor McPherson (The Weir, Shining City) called The Seafarer -- all at the National; Antony and Cleopatra (RSC London) starring Patrick Stewart, and Ed Hall's Twelfth Night at the Old Vic. And, of course, we are seeing Judi Dench in a new musical version of Merry Wives of Windsor in Stratford.
The seminar also features lectures with actors, writers and directors. Past lecture guests include Alan Cumming, Alan Bennett (History Boys), Jeremy Irons and Ed Hall.
