Don't think they raised prices...the sale is over.

The video they put out on Facebook (and I’m sure other places) of Corey Cott reading thirst quotes about him and his arms is amazing.

I watched the show this evening and the balcony was definitely open and people sat there. It wasn't full but it's interesting how the theater stopped selling Balcony seats.

Has anyone who’s gone recently know if they are selling windowcards yet? I went early in April and they said they were still waiting to get them

I can't really add much that has not been said already by people who have loved this show. It is entertaining and so much fun. The cast is great, very good dancing and of course loved those Huey Lewis songs. It is really nice when you can leave a show with a big smile on your face. Unfortunately, it was not very crowded but the people around me seemed to be having as much fun as me. My seat was in the center mezzanine (row 4) for $119. I am on business trip so my wife is not with me but if this show tours I told her I would be happy to see it again and join her at the show.

Quick note. I have a quick meeting at 11am and then done with business. My flight is not until 8pm so I will try to catch a matinee, not fussy as to what show. I figured I would be out of show by 4:30-4:45 and have TSA pre-check so even with traffic should be ok.

Jesse Green from NYT recently wrote that Corey Cott should have been nominated for Best Actor in a leading role in musical. Had he been the NYT theater critic reviewing the show he probably would have praised Cott’s performance.

A friend told me I should probably go see this again before next weekend. I hope he’s wrong :(

Ugh I hope so too. I can't make it back to NYC until the summer and would love to see this one.

the production is losing hundreds of thousands of dollars every week with no chance of ever making any of the investment money back

as a producer how long would you keep it open

even diana managed to crack 400k a couple of weeks and they only lasted about 5 weeks

enjoyable show or not it has been met with a big yawn from the general public

the only question left is which show will be the seasons biggest musical flop - this or lempicka

i originally thought that honor would go to how to dance in ohio, but it was a roaring success by comparison

That may be so, but I think this one will earn its keep in licensing like Addams and Wedding Singer. It’s peppy, funny and has music that people enjoy. I loved it on Broadway, but I look forward to seeing how it does after.

So it could be announcing a closing today or tomorrow?
