How FDR and America Failed Holocaust Victims

Anne Frank could still be alive today if America had acted humanely.

Have you all seen the PBS documentary The US and The Holocaust? Heartbreaking. Ken Burns has called it the most important film he has ever made. I was going to post this in the "how evil are American presidents" conversation, but feel this is weighty and relevant enough to today to warrant its own attention. Will we ever learn?

If you haven't seen it, you should watch. The glorification of American history is getting worse and worse, this is a timely reminder of mistakes made and why we should remember every facet of history, not just the ones that make us look good.
