The numbers don't lie, but having recently seen, e.g,, Sweat, Vietgone, Master Harold and the Boys, The Great Comet, The Color Purple, and Hamilton, I was left with the (apparently false) impression that things were significantly improving on this front.

I'm actually surprised to see that Asians are the 2nd highest majority racial group after white people for the Broadway audience demographic , even if the percentage is still miniscule..
