Yes I caught this at Barrow St, I enjoyed the play very much. It's moves very slowly, which I imagine will bore some people. But it portrays the sometimes boring daily grind of the workplace. It is funny and sad at same time. As an industry I know well. The depiction of the demise of the projectionist (as occurred across the world), I found very moving.
I saw it at Signature Theatre in Virginia, which usually has outstanding productions, many of Broadway caliber. The Flick was terrible. It was long and boring, and the character development was poorly drawn and inconsistent. I don't understand how this possibly won a Pulitzer.
