Would it be possible for you to change the thread title to The Crucible previews or something like that? Sometimes if I'm doing research on older shows I like to read a previews thread for initial reactions and it's difficult to find them when they're titled something odd.

Very excited for this production! Do we think it is going to be plainclothes like A View from the Bridge?

It will be a digital lottery via Jujamcyn.

Was supposed to see this last night in the canceled first preview; now have to wait a few weeks. Really hope that people who are unfamiliar with some of the cast, outside of Ronan, realize what an incredible company this is. I believe Whishaw is one of the most talented actors out there, who has largely flown under the radar outside of the UK. I was annoyed at the lack of promotion for the show, as there really isn't advertising for it around the city and there's been little promo for it on Broadway websites. However, their ticket sales are strong, as every date I looked at to make up for missing last night had few seats left on the floor.

I'll be there Wednesday night and will report back.

Does anyone have a link to the lottery? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

"SL, what do you mean by "seats on the floor"?

I assume they mean Orchestra.

Clyde & neon, do you receive lottery promotion emails from Jujamcyn? That's where I found the lottery. If not, check the site where Jujamcyn lotteries are all held. Or maybe some Crucible social media pages have the link listed.

I can't find the lottery link either, neither at The Crucible website or the Jujamcyn website for the show either.  If anyone has the link, would you mind sharing?  Thanks!

I'm not doubting that you received the email, but it's not on the Jujamcyn website like the rest of them are.

I don't receive the emails and only am aware of it from someone posting about it in another thread. I have looked at all the usual spots (official website, Jujamcyn site, Facebook, Twitter) and no mention of a lottery.

ETA: Thanks a lot, asmith!

Thanks for the link. It seems like they're doing the lottery a day in advance (????) is that why they don't have today's performance?

From the FAQ

How do I enter?

Fill out the form above and hit the “Submit” button! We’ll let you know if you won or lost via email at 12:00pm the day before the performance. Make sure your email is entered correctly! Duplicate entries will be discarded.

There is a general rush for The Crucible when the box office opens. Tickets are $35, 2 per person.

Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco. Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!

If that's true, then I'm incredibly relieved that I don't have to deal with those pesky digital lottos. But what's your source on that?

Whizzer and I were at the theater this morning and we got two pairs of tickets for tonight.  So I guess our source is the box office itself!  Looking forward to seeing Saoirse Ronan on stage and I'm hoping tonight is an excellent production.
