Why ain't she on Broadway more? ( I know the and grammar, not hate pms or comments)

She was the original choice for Roxie in "Chicago" at Enores but didn't so it cause Tommy Tune said no and she she was involved with "Easter Parade" with him which never came to NYC.

She can dance. She can sing. She can act.

Loved her in "the king and I" her Roxiie was so different and fun and one of the best ever (her new costumes were sexy) I remember a cast member before I saw her said "you'll pee laughing" she'd get applause in the middle of the Roxie monologue regardless the day. Her Reno in "anything goes" was great.

I, too, really enjoy her work. However, I think she's past the age where she could easily get starring roles.

Perhaps she has voluntarily retired. I, too, would be interested to find out why she's been out of the public eye and away from Broadway.

Audrey, the Phantom Phanatic, who nonetheless would rather be Jean Valjean, who knew how to make lemonade out of lemons.

I agree wholeheartedly. Why she hasn't worked with more regularity in NYC is really a shame. She's terrific (and was wonderful in No No Nanette at Encores, too).

PS, JBradshaw, you really have to reread your posts before hitting Post Message.

Sandy is--and has always been--a miraculous creature. One of those performers whom it is a gift to see.

Here she is, in the Encores production of No, No, Nanette, wanting YOU to be happy so she can be happy too.

Every so often she pops up as a judge on Law and Order SVU. I believe she was on this past week.
