Grand Canyon Skywalk

Has has anyone been to the Grand Canyon. My parents are taking me there in a couple of months and i think that we are going to go on the Skywalk. Is it worth it?

Hard to answer that question without knowing your parents' net worth. I haven't been to the Grand Canyon since the Skywalk thingy was built, but even without such an experience, all the cliches are true. It truly is awe inspiring.

If you go to tripadvisor.com, there are a lot of reviews of the Skywalk, most of which are pretty negative. It sounds like it's really expensive, you spend a long time waiting, they don't let you stay very long, and you can't take your own photos. And it isn't in the main part of the canyon.

I thought about doing it myself but decided against it after reading all the bad reviews. Your time and money are probably better spent elsewhere on the trip. Put the money towards a helicopter ride or something else.

Yes, Not being able to take pictures with my own camera would be a deal breaker for me. I have only been to the south rim (three times), so cannot speak about the west rim experience. I think the next time I go to Vegas I will choose that option. Probably would not do the skywalk for camera issue and fear of heights. As previously mentioned, many negative reviews. But if you are only going to be there only once and the camera policy doesn't bother you, I would say, ignore the reviews, and go for it.

Thanks for all the opinions :) From what it says on their website https://www.grandcanyon-nationalpark.org/grand-canyon-skywalk/ it looks fun but really high aswell
