HIPTIX ticket available for Violet (8/2, 2 PM)

Hi everyone. I have made a mistake in my planning. I am supposed to attend a friend's wedding on August 2, next Saturday, in PA. I RSVP'ed in the end of June, and then all this time thought it was August 9, so I went ahead and bought 3 HIPTIX tickets for August 2 between my sister and my accounts. Now I am really in a bind. I really want to see Violet, and I understand that there are no refunds or exchanges for HIPTIX (they do not have any available anymore anyway). However, I don't think this mistake is a good enough reason to tell my friend I cannot make it to his wedding last minute... (Or is it...?) This is the first time I made a mistake like this so I am beyond disappointed in myself... Such a ridiculous mistake...

Is there anyone out there who happens to have one HIPTIX ticket they would be willing to exchange with me? I can make the following show dates:
Friday, August 1; Sunday, August 3; August 5-9 (except for Wed matinee).
I can be in the Times Square area anytime before 6:30 PM on Friday, August 1, to make the exchange.
If anyone can help me with this, I would be grateful forever!!! Thanks for reading, I thought it wouldn't hurt to try here.

Bump!
As I imagined, it does not look good. In case I need to let this ticket go, does anyone know if Violet is doing any kind of rush recently? I can possibly rush it this Friday, if they do have day-of rush available that is.

I know its a longshot but did you try contacting Roundabout? I had tix for Cabaret and realized a family wedding was the same day so they agreed to change one time for a later date (but the show wasnt closing in a week)

Thanks for your advice, i didn't think to contact them being that it's a Hiptix ticket, and when I purchased it they specifically said no refund/exchanges, and yes, I am running out of time... I guess it won't hurt though, I may try to talk to them tomorrow.
And muscle23ftl, I will definitely let you know soon. (I just have one ticket available). Thanks.

And thanks for the rush info, n2nbaby, worth looking into!

Hi everyone, new development, I just checked roundabout and it seems that they've got HIPTIX available again for some of the remaining shows (yay!). Here's my question though, when they say, 2 HIPTIX per person, can you split that up into 2 single ticket purchases? And then can I pick them up together? I am likely going to book a ticket for Friday, and then pick up my 2 tickets for Friday and Saturday together. Is that allowed? I wouldn't want to run into trouble at the theater.
Thanks in advance!

How about you call Roundabout and ask?

Hi all, thanks for your suggestions. I spoke to Roundabout, they will allow me to give my ticket away to another person who is between 18-35 years of age. I am just asking for what I paid, $25. If interested, please PM me, and I will need your name and address to give to Roundabout, they will open up an account in your name, and the ticket will be held in your name at will call. I can meet up in Manhattan on Friday (afternoon preferred), to collect payment and pick up ticket at box office to make sure nothing goes wrong. Ticket will go to first pm I get. Thanks!

If you're going to meet the person to collect payment and pick up the ticket then why would you need the buyer's information? You pick the ticket up and give it to them...

Clyde, I wish I could do that, but I am seeing the show on Friday, 8/1, and when I called Roundabout to explain my situation, they told me I cannot pick up to give it to someone else (guess they are trying to enforce their rule), so I must give them information. I will be picking up two tickets together, so there's no way* (edited for typo) to get around it. Kinda crazy, I know...
