You guys in the UK do realize that, despite her antics, she is (was) a well respected actress, often referred to as one of the best of her generation..
Owen i think the best of her generation is a bit OTT
She was great in The Parent Trap and Mean Girls, her others were kinda naff. If you watch her acting today she is totally awkward. I enjoyed The Canyons more than most but she was not great, ok at best. On top of that her track record and time keeping is appalling, even recently on her docu series. No way would she fit in to such a scheduled routine like a show.
She was a pretty good child star who has not been able to transition to adult star (wait that sounded like i meant porn)
Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna
I didn't say she should do Broadway (or shouldn't), I'm just cuing you in that here in the States, the girl had the respect of her peers (find articles online from Meryl Streep and Jane Fonda who go on about her talent). It's why so many refuse to give up on her. She isn't Tara Reed, she was a strong intuitive actress, and yes, had the possibility of being the best of that generation. Easily.
There are many reasons why she's called "Lindsay La Loca" here in the U.S. Those producers who made this fateful decision will rue the day they cast that trainwreck in this play.
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
La Loca= crazy female. It's just one nickname that has been attached to her.

Yeah, I'm definitely not going to fly to the UK to see /that/ happen. I think this is going to be horrible, but who knows, maybe I will be surprised and it won't be that bad...
Since there is only one video/gif , I guess you are referring to me Phantom. I actually think it's funny. Dare I say that a new "low" was achieved when some enterprising individual decided to hire someone (Lohan) with such a dodgy work ethic and a horrendous reputation. The producers could have selected a professionally trained and experienced theatre actress, but instead decided to take a risk on Lohan. Good luck with that.

For those not adept at reading between the lines to the real subtext of "vegas" this is the actual link - my bad. And for some reason I can't correct it at the moment... Lohan on 'final warning'
