As the old thread was not showing any of my posts...
I've had with Laganja and I hope she is shown the door next week because the bitch is a professional victim.

I've also had it with Milk. I'm tired of the ugly looks. I'm ****ing tired of them and for once in my life I agree with Santino "But this doesn't shock me really..." Milk doing Boy Ru is something you can see coming from a mile away. And MAYBE I could have overlooked it had the bald cap been put on nicely, but that was awful. Milk says it wouldn't be true to his aesthetic had he done a glamour look so... is his aesthetic ugly? Ugly for what purpose? Ugly for no purpose? It just comes off to me as excuses to be sloppy and I agree with Courtney, I don't think Milk can do beauty make up, I mean my god her Julia Child makeup was hideous.

That pretty much sums up my feelings exactly.

But I will say that I'm going to miss Gia's wonky eye/eyelash. That sh1t was amazing.

Oh Wonky ass Gia. That **** was AWFUL tonight! It's obviously the lashes on that eye are what's doing it because out of drag her eye is fine so why doesn't she do something about it? It makes her look like she was having a stroke.

And my god I love Bianca even more after this episode and I am reaffirmed in my love of Adore when she was having NONE of Laganja's ****. I'm clocking Top 5 right now as Bianca, Adore, Courtney, Ben, & Joslyn with Joslyn not making it to top 4.

Tonight I really enjoyed Adore for the first time. She really made me laugh for the entire 90 minutes.

And Ru's explanation of Santino's slurred apeech during Trinity's walk was...weird.

I think it was fair that it was addressed though and it wasn't something you could cut from Untucked as it was instrumental to her whole HIV thing. You could audibly hear Ru slur her first word which Santino made fun of.

Adore killed it as Anna Nicole, but Ben's line about citrus-flavored libation made me laugh very, very hard.

Laganja is the worst. Gia- for all her trashy, petty, stupid bitchiness- was at least funny. Laganja's not funny. She's just a selfish attention whore.

Though Gia's parting words about Milk - whether you like Milk or not- were totally classless.

I thought the sequence after Snatch Game in which Ben talked about his mother, which was then followed by Bianca lending Adore a cincher, was actually... really poignant.

I can not comment on Untucked yet, since I have to watch with audio online. The viewing party I was at kept it on, but sans audio. Needless ro say, the visuals spoke volumes enough for me to fill in the blanks.

Laganja has GOT to go. The desperation for attention in every confessional and every Untucked is grating.

So glad to see Gia gone. She was funny, but evil and flat out dumb (the black and white comment.. HELLO!). The parting arrows at Milk were revolting and reflective 100% of her character. That is all you needed to know to sum her up. Disgusting.

Milk is... I like Milk... As a boy. His drag look is fine as a downtown alternative club kid, but there has to be substance behind it aside from "I want to be different" and I don't feel she is secure enough in the character of Milk to allow her room to play and morph in each challenge while staying true to Milk... Bianca and Ben do that perfectly. The Boy Ru was too obvious, but funny. She jumps at EVERY chance for pants and it grows stale. As far as glam make up, I doubt she has learned the technique nd is now scared to try it.

Adore was a great Anna Nicole, but as observed, it isn't as far removed from Adore as you would think.

Ben's Maggie Smith was fantastic and this challenge was a dead tossup between Ben and bianca, so I can not gripe. It would be great to see them banter as Judy and Maggie. YouTube video... Please!!!

Bianca's Judge Judy was GOLD and she was by far the most out there, filling the game with her personality and playing off the others.. Wonderful. In this season, it is clear that she is THE star with Ben really acting as her Ethel Mertz.

For anyone here who has complained about Bianca being an insult comic and only firing barbs, I hope tonight made clear that not only is she a brilliant comic and talented cometitor and quick with those barbs, but the editing has been heavy towards that.. Tonighht you were able to also see that Bianca is a good girl, a bit selfless, and willing to step up and help a sister out. She didn't need to help Adore. In fact, she has every reason NOT to. Notice that the judges even noticed it.. Good lady, Bianca.

I love Courtney as well, but tonight was bland for her. Can we ditch Trinity next?

You know what makes Milk's choice of Work Room Ru even more perplexing? The fact that Ru had actual Club Kid days. He had Gender**** days. How about Ru's counselor look from Brady Bunch? Starrbooty? These would have been inline with Milk's look, but I really I've come to realize he doesn't have a look.

Milk's "look" is clown make up, pants, mismatxhed and try to shock or defy. That's it. It's beginning to wear thin unfortunately.
Yes, it would have been wonderful if Milk had gone for any of those looks... But this required less effort, less knowledge.

It seems as though everyone did as expected on The Snatch Game. If you picked someone who can be funny you succeeded and if you didn't then you failed. I just wish they would do this episode later in the season because there are far too many queens to focus on.

I could not for the life of me understand why Gia would even THINK of picking Selena. I mean nothing screams hilarious more than a singer gunned down in 1995. Maybe in some world Julia Child, Fran Drescher, Rachel Zoe and Kim K could be funny but not here. Nicki Minaj is another head scratcher. The only funny thing she has is the Mariah feud and Ru gave her the lob and she didn't missed the chance. Changing wigs is obviously so Chad Michaels.

Bianca SLAYED as Judge Judy which I obviously knew she would. The Officer Byrd puppet had me dying especially when she threw it at Gia after her BBC card. I wasn't as in love with Adore's Anna Nicole because she couldn't do the voice honestly. She had some funny moments but I wasn't gagging like everyone else. I think DeLa was seriously downplaying his ability because that sh!t was spot-on (except for the accent)! The critique that he was playing another old lady because he played one in the horror movie was laughable.

Now getting to the lowest of low…Laganja. I seriously can't take another second of her. Bianca was exact on everything she said. You can't walk around with some giant turban with dreads on it spouting your gibberish and then the next minute cry when people don't like you. You make yourself completely unbearable and even try to alienate the one friend you have by saying false accusations about her with no examples. As much as I hated Gia at least she had some funny times, Laganja is just a baby. I'll take a b!tch over a victim any day. Also I don't think she's ever seen Rachel Zoe once in her life.

Overall I'm really disappointed with the direction of this show. For the most part, I feel the casting is really off. None of those girls are nearly as strong as some of the lesser contenders of seasons past.

Speaking of casting, Gia is a pretty terrible drag queen. She is however VERY GOOD TV. If she is not brought back on by some "special circumstance" I'll eat a crow pie.

The editing is atrocious. Why do the shows start with a recap? It's like 5 minutes of wasted storytime we want. That musical last week was obviously much longer but we only got a snippet. I understand there is a need for balance and humor but we can see the strings at this point.

More to the "strings." Last week's debacle with the two singers posed against each other points to rigging. This week we have the snatch game and Ru/Maggie Smith girl made a red-herring by suggesting he was in trouble. He clearly wasn't, he's done Maggie before and he was prepared. I don't like knowing stakes are being contrived. I don't like knowing there was time for a joke writer to write a quip for Rupaul or it was done in ADR.

They seriously need to step back and retool this show. I used to tell everyone this was the best of reality TV. It's not anymore.

I agree. Half the time it is painfully obvious that the reaction shot they are showing us is not a reaction to what just happened, but some bit of film from another moment that they inserted. There has always been that element to the show. But it used to be smoother. Now the editing is so sloppy that it takes the real out of reality.

Art has a double face, of expression and illusion.

Apparently, this batch is already getting a rep for being c**ty to fans.

Courtney continues to disappoint me with her mediocrity. I really expected bigger and better.

Loved Bianca for many reasons this week. I thought Adore was hysterical. DeLa was wonderful. I feel like Darienne was probably great, but she seemed to get so little screen time.

Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

I really do enjoy Courtney, but at this point she is just.. there. Very pretty, pleasant voice, not hateful, definitely reliable, but mot the best nor the worst. I am wondering if she starts to turn uo the heat soon.

I really appreciated that they showed that Bianca - Adore when getting ready for the runway.

Untucked.. Oh, I still can't.. Someone needs to bring back Mimi so she can pick ip and drop LaGanga... and Trinity... sorry miss thing, the HIV moment, not to take anything away from her for having it, came off as cheap... that isn't why she is so defensive.

I just don't understand why the show is on autopilot. Did they cut the budget severely? It feels like those girls are being too directed by the producers. Courtney in particular got a ton of screen time up front but was put back this week.

I saw a bit of next week's episode, it feels a little bit better with more girls gone but none of them jump out at me as being close to some the past years losers. The drama is so canned and just all around said. I wish the show got a bit more real.

Did they cut the budget severely?

Well like I said when the season started, they don't have the sponsors of seasons gone by. Absolut, Interior Illusions, alandchuck.travel (maybe). I don't think Scruff is making up for the loss of all those. That probably factors into some things but I don't think the look of the show is all that different.

Interior Illusions was replaced by FormDecor and has been since All Stars filmed just after Season 5 as Raven shills FormDecor **** during his call to his mom. It's just that they were aired in reverse of when they were filmed. Al & Chuck are still doing the Drag Race cruise so I think they're probably just not doing a grand prize trip.

That may be the case but they don't refer to it as "The FormDecor Lounge," it's "The Untucked Lounge" now. Either way none of those companies are putting the money into it that Absolut was.

Wait..All Stars was filmed before season 5?

I loved how when Trinity announced she was HIV+, they didn't all rush to her side as if it was her death sentence. Something so minute but it really made the moment more special.

This week was a good one for the tears also with DeLa's story about his mom and his weight. Easily the nicest queen this season.

I'm kind of worried now about the edit Darienne seems to be getting..she comes across already as the "bitch" which worries me as she was one of my pre show favorites.

Filmed after, aired before. That's why All Stars had FormDecor while Season 5 had Interior Illusions.

I don't see Darienne as a bitch at all. I see her as a friendly, fun but no nonsense queen who expects you to be a good time, but mot BS
