Stephanie Block tweeted something about this show going to Broadway. That is not happening. Will Swensen seemed so uncomfortable in the role of the dad- it made me uncomfortable.
The only future this show has is in regional theaters.

Will Swenson is already cast as Javert in the Les Miz revival so I would think it would be unlikely he would accompany LMS to Broadway

I finally saw this this past weekend, and I enjoyed it, but I came in with very little knowledge of the film and avoiding most of the LMS threads here (so maybe that helped). I did feel like it wasn't dark enough where it could've been way darker, and the score was just bland. I'm surprised it wasn't better given how much they've been working on it -- Nobody Loves You was way more fun and stronger overall. The LMS cast is great, though, and they were the reason I went. I didn't regret it. I'd like to go back one more time to see what/if anything ends up changing.
