So, NOT THRILLED that Huck is the one that shot the president. Especially since shooting the president seems like something Hollis would orchestrate after not getting his way with the Senate Majority leader (loving seeing Norm Lewis on TV each week BTW).


Also, is it just me or have they STILL never addressed the fact that last season they revealed Cyrus was behind the murder of the intern that was lying about the affair with the president?

I am a new convert to this show. I watched the pilot last spring when it premiered on ABC and thought I could do without it so I didn't bother to keep watching...well last weekend I discovered what a big fool I have been.

I was heading out to meet up with some friends at a bar last Saturday night when I decided at the last minute that I would rather stay in. I decided to crawl in bed and watch a movie. I couldn't find a thing on Netflix to watch so I decided that I would give Scandal another go around. Needless to say I got sucked in and watched 4 episodes back to back. The next thing I know it is 4:00 am. Sunday evening I finished season 1 and decided to watch start season 2 OnDemand to get caught up to the current upcoming episode. I was not pleased to find that the first episode of season 2 was no longer OnDemand. I ended up purchasing a Hulu Plus subscription (I had already exhausted my 1 week trial a couple of weeks ago and decided not to renew). I am all caught up and obsessed.

I love Bellamy Young as Mellie Grant.

Tonights show was packed and intense. It was a great episode for a winter finale.

Last night's episode was amazing. I can't wait until January 10th.

However, I must say as a southerner, I think Kate Burton's accent is horrific...and I typically feel that she can do no wrong.

I agree Jordan. I would rather have her than not have her. I just need her to be less Foghorn Leghorn. It's definitely Hollywood's idea of a high class southern accent.

I think she wanted to differentiate from her other fantastically bitchy Senator on Veep.

This was an ingenious ratings boon for the show. Now how can Olivia's firm survive any of this?

I did catch the Oprah interview with Kerry, the 'real Olivia', and Shonda. Interesting that Kerry loathes doing all of her love scenes. Couldn't even tell given her fantastic chemistry with Tony Goldwyn.
