Now we all know, he will never beat the master, Willard Mitt Romney when it comes to lies and flip flops. However, he is giving Mitt a run for his money!

"Newly-minted vice-presidential candidate Paul Ryan was already having a bad first week of running-matery when he told a reporter that he 'never asked for stimulus,' only to be later confronted with letters in which he did exactly that, letters in which he extolled the job-creating virtues of stimulus funds. On Sunday morning's Up with Chris Hayes, host Chris Hayes dug Ryan's shovel-ready hole a little deeper with some devastating archival videos that show Ryan arguing for stimulus more forcefully than any Democrat."

Paul Ryan supported stimulus spending to create jobs...in 2002 when a Republican was in the White House. Now, stimulus bad. He's been beating that drum since 2010, blaming the stimulus for every economic problem in America. Cut taxes and pull yourself up by your bootstraps.

Jim, you are a moron. You make these comments and then runaway. You are as blank as a fart. You have no talent as a musician and know nothing about politics. Thanks for bumping the thread though. You say nothing about the 2 lies so far posted in the thread about Ryan. Instead you just say Biden bad,Ryan good. You are the reason why cousins should not be allowed to marry.

there is no such place. it is immoral to lie to children and tell them there is a place of eternal torment that their friends who do not share the same religious denomination that they do will go to. worse yet, every incarnation of this place ever imagined up is basically torture porn from sick minds. no surprise here.

Isn't this like the 4th song in a row where the artist has told them to stop? Why aren't they just getting permission first? This is another brainfart in the brainfartiest campaign ever run.
They aren't asking permission because they know they will be denied. They can play a song for about 8 or 9 campaign stops before they are ordered to stop and just pick another.
Bruce Springsteen,Sting,John Mellencamp, and Bon Jovi have given Democrats permission publicly to use whatever they want.
Maybe Mitt picked the wrong week to announce he was cutting the Arts.

To anyone paying the slightest bit of attention to facts, Ryan's speech was an apparent attempt to set the world record for the greatest number of blatant lies and misrepresentations slipped into a single political speech. On this measure, while it was Romney who ran the Olympics, Ryan earned the gold. The good news is that the Romney-Ryan campaign has likely created dozens of new jobs among the legions of additional fact checkers that media outlets are rushing to hire to sift through the mountain of cow dung that flowed from Ryan's mouth.
Said fact checkers have already condemned certain arguments that Ryan still irresponsibly repeated. Elections should be about competing based on your record in the past and your vision for the future, not competing to see who can get away with the most lies and distortions without voters noticing or bother to care. Both parties should hold themselves to that standard. Republicans should be ashamed that there was even one misrepresentation in Ryan's speech but sadly, there were many.

Faux News is trtying to give itself some type of credibility. No better way to do it than a ticket that's gonna lose, with a Presidential candidate they don't like.

Ryan confessed after Runner's World scoured marathon records in Ryan's home state.
Paul Ryan Lied About Marathon Feat
It turns out Paul Ryan has not run a marathon in less than three hours-or even less than four hours. A spokesman confirmed late Friday that the Republican vice presidential candidate has run one marathon. That was the 1990 Grandma's Marathon in Duluth, Minnesota, where Ryan, then 20, is listed as having finished in 4 hours, 1 minute, and 25 seconds. Ryan had said in a radio interview last week that his personal best was "Under three, high twos. I had a two hour and fifty-something." In a statement issued to Runner's World by a spokesman Friday night, Ryan said of his marathon experience: "The race was more than 20 years ago, but my brother Tobin-who ran Boston last year-reminds me that he is the owner of the fastest marathon in the family and has never himself ran a sub-three. If I were to do any roundin, it would certainly be to four hours, not three. He gave me a good ribbing over this at dinner tonight."

Paul Ryan strikes me as that kid in elementary school who made stuff up because he wanted to make friends. Then he continued to do so through middle and high school, and to this day.
"Yeah-huh, I ran a marathon in like TWENTY MINUTES!"
