Ugh, he made the Johanna/Anthony scenes in the SWEENEY TODD film somewhat laughable, I'd much rather see Jonathan Groff in the role (not that he'd be my first choice). But Bower is a working actor in England and currently playing one of the principals in ANONYMOUS, I imagine he's more likely to be a frontrunner.

Hopefully JCB will turn down the role and Walker is cast instead so keep your fingers crossed because in my opinion Enjolras should be a little bit older than Marius.
I tend to read most casting announcements with a sense of skepticism about the selections. I also find that the actors I was leery about do a wonderful job in the finished product. So in general I've learned to wait before dissing anyone.
JCB may end up being great (if it's true). I'm gonna give him and the casting people the benefit of the doubt.
(But I still think Walker is an unbeatable choice!)
Crap! Well, if Walker can't work it into his schedule, that definitely takes him out of the running.
But is Jamie really the #2 choice? I can see him as one of the rebellious students, but not the leader of the whole group (Enjorlas). I don't think he's "commanding" enough physically or as an actor.

Oh, no! He seems all wrong both physically and emotionally. I thought he was fine in Sweeney Todd and certainly he has a nice singing voice, but Enroljas needs to brim with command, swagger, righteousness and inspiration. None of those facets have emerged in any of the roles I have seen Bower in.
I like Jamie's light tenor voice. He was probably the best singer in Sweeney Todd. I don't see him in this role though. If he is cast then hopefully he will surprise me.
"Jamie Campbell Bower is, however, in Twilight..."
Yeah, somehow he has managed to have an impressive resume...Sweeney Todd, Twilight, Harry Potter, The Prisoner (with Sir Ian McKellen)...
Patronus - Zachary Levi...interesting choice...I do love me some Zachary Levi...I never even thought of him in the role, but the more I think about it, the more I like it.
