Understanding Telecharge

I have not had much occasion to use Telecharge in the recent past so am a bit rusty.

Three questions:

If an Amex presale for a show goes through 9/23 but the general sale doesn't begin until 9/26, what is the status of sales for that show on 9/24 and 9/25? Does that mean one cannot order on those dates?

Also, what is the difference between "best available" and "premium"? Aren't they the same thing? Or does "best available" mean "best" of the non-premium? I find the wording confusing.

And how soon before opening night do opening night tickets become available?

Thanks.

Yes, you can't order until 9/26

Best available is the best of what is available to you. Premium seats are more expensive and are held for people who want to pay for them. If you have a discount code it excludes certain seats so you're shown the best of what is available of the discounted seats.

You'll have to ask the producers.

Thanks for the info. I still cannot fathom why a show would suspend sales for a couple of days, but then I am not a producer.

Where would I put in a discount code if I had one?? I tried using one for FOllies but it didn't have someplacce to use the code so I ended up paying full price. (It was worth it though.) It was one of the codes found on here good until 10/2 Updated On: 9/19/11 at 06:13 PM

For ticketmaster (FOLLIES et al.) you enter the code in the "Enter offer code/password" field at the top left.

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

They don't suspend sales...the first few days are for American Express holders...all the way until they sell to any old credit card.

And, if you have a discount code and wish to use it on Telecharge, just go to broadwayoffers.com and enter in the code and continue on like you would for any old Telecharge ticket purchase.

I have a Telecharge question... Do they have any type of ticket insurance you can buy like Ticketmaster does? On Ticketmaster you can have your tickets protected for an extra $7 so if something happens (in my case a flight delay or cancellation) you can get your money back. I was just wondering if Telecharge had something similar you could buy.
